The speed limit in towns is 30mph, in single carraigeways 60mph and on motorways 70mph.There are severe penalties, including imprisonment, for driving with a blood/alcohol level exceeding 80mg per 100ml. Seatbelts must be worn at all times in both the front and back seats.

Necessary Documentation

If you live within the EU and hold a valid community license, you can drive any vehicle in Britain, as long as the full entitlement of that vehicle is shown on the license.

Fuel

There are petrol stations scattered all over the UK, all supplying unleaded petrol and diesel. Prices will vary from region to region. Most stations will accept major international credit cards.
